In order to produce a versatile hunting companion we make a commitment to our breeding program by testing our dogs in NAVHDA and AKC Hunt Tests to gain a better understanding of each dog's strengths and weaknesses. Most importantly our dogs prove themselves each year on our wild bird hunting adventures in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and South Dakota.

After the hunt, our dogs are required to be enjoyable family companions. After all, hunting season is only a few short months but we live with our hunting companions 365 days a year. We strive to produce puppies that can hunt all day but can come in the house and relax on the couch at night.
